Awakedry provides an initial consultation with both child and parent/s. A three part treatment program is used that results in the condition being cured over, usually, about six weeks.

The focus of the consultation is to educate, involve the child and to inspire confidence that the treatment will work.
Bladder training techniques are used to increase the child's bladder capacity.
A Bell and Pad Enuresis Alarm is used on the child's bed.

Weekly follow-up via telephone is maintained for the duration of the treatment.

The alarms used are biomedical devices. The alarms are hired as part of the treatment. The alarms used are manufactured in Australia by Ramsey Coote Instruments and comply with the Australian Safety Standard AS 2394.

No drugs are used or recommended as part of this treatment that is based on proven learning theory.
